    I have been doing so much lately around here that I am must plain tired. Spring cleaning and organizing can get a girl the case of the Zzzzz`s. After I am done here, I may or may not take a nap. That is up for consideration.

 What to talk about?? Hmm

   I have finally decided on the color theme for the living room. The walls are going to be gray but I have not decided on the shade. I also want white trim, accents of black and a turquoise blue. I am going to go to Lowe`s and pick up some of those sample paints and try to decide what to do.
 I am going to take all the pictures down off the walls. I want to change up a couple of the posters. I love reproductions of French advertising. I want the tealy turquoise look in there somehow. I do not know. I will figure it out. LOL I want new shades on the windows and accent drapes in black. There will be new flooring, new to us living room furniture, and a nice round rug in there. We are going to donate all the furniture in the house that we do not want to a charity that will come and pick it up. But first I need to start with the paint!  The kitchen will be blue but I have not figured out the other colors, so I am going to stick with my ideas with the livingroom for now. 

  I found a old handbag at salvation army yesterday. It is a small black purse with gold snap and small handle, with a bakelite accent and it is lined with the name Paray. From what I can gather online, that is an old name from the 40s. I paid $2.99 for it. I need a smaller wallet though. That is on my radar. My wallet clasp wont stay closed so this will give me a reason to buy a smaller bag. I love old bags like what my Mother would have used. Pretty snazzy!

  Okay, yeah. My ass is tired. I am going to go lay down on the couch and watch some tv. Hopefully that will revive  me. I do not want this to be a wasted Saturday.

Redecorating..the beginning

 I had mentioned briefly that I was thinking of redoing, repainting, sprucing up the house. I have not bought any new furniture (or new to me) in forever. I also want to get rid of stuff. I have a huge tv hutch in my dining room that I will practically give away! I need to empty it and clean it before I sell it. It is one of those uber expensive shabby chic ones. We bought it off a friend with the tv inside of it for $100. The hutch would not fit up our old fashioned stairs. It has got to go.
 Anyway, I found this side table on Craigslist for $20! It is 18 inches tall. I do not know if I want to make it a true side table or use it for plants. All I know is I want it and I pick it up today at 3pm. LOL
 I think selling off stuff, throwing things away, and having a true change will make me feel better. And I wont spend a ton of money. I found an older tan/yellow leather/vinyl loveseat that is to die for! $40! I am waiting to hear on it. It will replace the yucky love seat in the livingroom.
I am thinking (if my brain remembers) that I will post as I go along. I get a new thing, you get to see. When I start painting, before and after.

It`s a melting Monday

 OMFG!!

I accidentally deleted an entire page of writing! I am pissed! 

  I am not going to the gym today like I said (sorry Bima) because my period is just way too heavy. I will stick close to home and clean. The downstairs is already smelling good with orange cleaner. Mmm! All the heaters are off because it is close to 50 deg F outside. All is melting away.

  I have decided it is time for some inexpensive redecorating. I have a foot stool that needs a new cover. I need new shades in the living room. They are dark brown bamboo Pier 1 shades (back when I could afford them) and Ruby chewed the string on one of them so it does not work. Gives me an excuse to replace. I need two new lamps in there also since one was broken when we had the outlet overheat. I have an old table in there that I never finished painting. I think I want to redo that in a different color. I was painting it black. I also want to a new/used love seat or two chairs to replace to nasty love seat we have in there. And I want to paint the walls. They are chocolate brown with white trim. I loved it but it has been up since 1998. Time for a change.
 My dream would be to have new flooring but I cant now. I have to save for my trip to Denver and to replace the Mac. I am going to save as much money as I can every single month. I wish we had more. Or the economy was better.
Oh well. Cant have all your wishes come true.

So if anybody has some nice comfy side chairs or a decent love seat that they want to get rid of, you can chuck them over here. They will be loved!
