Living in ADHD Wonderland
*249* <---stress ate over the weekend
Ruby, our three yr old puggle mix is on 500 mg of Cipro 2x a day for like 10 days. She has mastitis in her back nips. For three days I thought she might have breast cancer. I was a wreck! After spending a large amount for blood work, the vet said she is fine. The pills are slowly working. Every day is a bit better. I hide them in a piece of bread with peanut butter. She doesnt spit them out when I do that. i ate so many cookies. Too many to count. Pushing the veggies this week. LOL
I have been learning through therapy that I live in a ADHD household. I probably have it also but I am high functioning. Some women just learn fast what works in their life to keep shit smooth. People like me are hard to diagnose as ADHD too. That being said, we know for a fact that two of them are most definitely from testing and the other has all the classic symptoms. That makes life for me extra fun!
All the clutter. All the times they leave stuff laying around. The forgetfulness. I have to remind/nag to the point that I am a asshole. I have to basically do everything. I have been complaining for years but I finally know why this family is the way it IS. I read this article (20 things to remember if you love a person with ADD) the other day and it really opened my eyes to it more than before. It says ADD but both problems are basically the same. I was told by the therapist that it is very surprising that Hubs and I have been together for almost 30 years. People with ADD and ADHD as adults and unmedicated are hard to be around. I have learned to adapt. I have to learn that is okay to be his keeper cause I love him. But the girls need to stop forcing me to be their keepers. They have to go out on their own with their lives without me being their beacon.
Yeah.. I am working on how I let myself become a doormat over the years. Time to change that. I also want to be ME again. We shall see how it goes.
I fell under familial pressure and had the cable turned back on. Grrr! We lasted 3 months. THREE months! I was in heaven. They all started in on me about it when the new Fall shows started and Football. I will be stressing the bills again but they get to watch unlimited commercials! WooHoo! *smirk* Oh..I had my 2nd ultrasound on my thyroid yesterday. I probably wont hear anything till Friday/Monday. I am not worrying about it. They are probably the same size as before. I will update if there is a change.
Gloomy and rainy day. I have laundry going. I have to wash dishes (again). Roast a butternut squash for soup. Figure out what is for dinner. Fry bacon for BLTs for lunch. And water my plants. I ordered Kid #2`s bed this morning from Walmart. It will be here by her birthday next week. I am just doing. You all know how those days go..if there is anybody out there actually. Part of me thinks I am just talking to myself.
Have a great Wednesday. American Horror Story!

It has cooled off here in the Northeast. It is still humid but it is summer. Not like it used to be. We have not gotten a big rain yet. I am hoping for that to come this week soon. I have not posted cause it was just too damn hot. I was irritated and getting on the verge of kicking somebody. The only real relief was jumping into a cool bath. I laid in there so long that part of me wished I could get one of those inflatable pillows and just sleep in there.
I started this post yesterday, got distracted, the kid took over the computer and now I sit here to finish it while my coffee is brewing. It is humid today. We had rains last night that really cooled it off but this morning the sun is beating down on the house. The AC in the living room is on it`s last legs so we have to keep the temp at a high of 72 deg F otherwise it freezes up. Oh, and Ruby woke up yesterday covered in welts. None on her face and neck, she could breathe fine. Just everywhere else. I have not figured out what the culprit is. She woke me up with it so something at night happened. Maybe a mosquito or spider bite. Maybe she ate something that she shouldn't have. I have no idea. I dosed her with Benadryl all day and she is fine this morning. I see like two tiny welts on her side. I am going to wait and see if she needs more today. The pills are small so we hid them in cheese for her. I went out in the yard to inspect before I realized it wouldn't have happened out there cause a reaction is kind of instant...but I found a patch of poison ivy that I need to get some spray for. Good thing I found that.It is near where they go to the bathroom and all I need is to get contact off their fur from it.
Jesus it is humid. I just went and brought Hubby his coffee and I am sweating from the trek upstairs. I lust after central air conditioning.
We have been talking about what we are going to do to the house when we secure the loan either in Mid-August or September. We have to paint most definitely on the first floor and that has to be done before the floors are put in. I want a new fridge like yesterday and maybe replace the dishwasher. After that, we will take our time deciding and hunting bargains and sales. I just want to get the floors done and some newer living room furniture so I can be happy when I open the front door.
This post is now not really going anywhere.. It is hot, the dog is fine, I am just doing what I do, not exercising cause it is hot as fuck, and we are happy.
I guess being happy and positive is the best you can hope for.

Labor Day 2012
*264*
Hubs has spent yesterday and he will spend today with me. It feels good. We miss the money from the part timer but I am enjoying the time with him. He says that he has not lost the job, it is just slow. So when business picks up, he will get to come in for work. This is his vacation weekend at the full time so we are enjoying it. I love that man and he loves me. How did we get to be so lucky?
If you live in the US and you have to work today...BOO! I hope you carve out some time to yourself when you get off of work so that you get to celebrate too. Since I was uber lazy all weekend, I am cooking and cleaning today. Right now as I type, I am also frying bacon for sandwiches for lunch. Then I am going to pick a room to clean and CLEAN it. The friend is coming in four days! Not alot of time to make this place lived in but non-gross.
My list is long and I will have the kid`s help. I am even going to bake fucking cookies for the cookie jar.
But today is cleaning the one room of my choosing (NOT the kitchen) and making Sunday Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. Hubs wanted it today so that is what he is getting.
We bought this papasan chair at a yard sale for $5. This is one new. Ruby finally figured out how to sit in it.
I am so spaced right now. I am doing bacon. I am thinking what i have to do this week. I got the girls talking to me. And I am out of coffee. I have no idea what I am talking about! Ha!
I read up on saving food for survival. It was really smart and it was not just about end of the world scenarios. It could be if we had a hurricane or a blizzard and the lights went out. We would have food to eat that does not require cooking. Did you know you should have 3 cases of water per person (and animal) to give you a weeks worth of water? You know when the stores have those sales on cases of water for like $3 a piece? That is when we should buy. Stack it up in the corner of the basement. After a year, if you did not use it, you can use it for cooking or watering your plants. I have been seriously thinking about it. I am all about having enough food to eat and if a situation came up, I would lose my mind if we did not have enough food. I am going to save cat food and dog food also. I assume it has the same shelf life as other things but I will check it out.
Anyway...that is just something to think about. Not just for me but maybe for you also.
I have re-potted a new Wandering Jew plant that a friend gave me and then my other one got knocked over on the front porch and the pot broke. The plant needs to be repotted. It is root bound. So I have to buy soil and pots for 1..2..3..4 plants. I want to get that done soon before the fall truly comes. My umbrella plant, the one I bought at the grocery store, was not doing so great so I moved it here in the dining room. It is not dropping leaves anymore. Hopefully it will survive the re-pot.
Well, I guess I am done with all my babbling. It will be a nice busy Monday holiday but I will remain in my pajamas!
Have a great day.

More effin rain
The plants are doing well despite the lack of lots of sun like last year. I am hoping for a bumper crop of brussel sprouts. I was unsuccessful with them last year. The plants did not even take off at all. This year..well they are the ones in the top picture right next to the mustard greens (yellow) and next to them is kale. On the other side of the greens are cucumbers. And I have that big old sunflower that sprouted on it`s own from the garden. I decided to leave it. Yesterday I went and planted a couple basil plants and my sweet pepper plant. The basil are getting eaten by something here at the house (bug) and I want basil so I brought it to the garden. I have really stuffed the fuck out of those boxes. It will come to the point I wont have to weed at all because they will be crowded out.
This year I did cucumbers and I have not done them in a very long time. The green caterpillar bugs that like to eat them, freaked me out a bit back then, Where the fuck did you come from and why are you in my yard?
I am not as squeamish as I used to be.
Today I am going out and buying a carpet steam cleaner. We always rented because we only needed to use it every few months. But now that we have Ruby and she is being a beast to housebreak, I need to carpet clean more often. So it is cost effective to just buy one. I have narrowed down to a Bissel. I will go to a couple places today to get the best price.
We are also going to go to BJs wholesale and buy our monthly meat supply. Oh so much cheaper then the grocery store.
Hope you have some sun shining on you today. I will be dodging rain drops the whole time.

Allergies are the bomb!
![]() |
| Creeping phlox is starting to open. |
I am waiting for my knock off/generic allergy medicine to kick in. My eyes are all gooey. I usually have some nice name brand type of pill but times are tough and I cut back. The store brand actually does work. Believe it or not. I just took it though so I will bitch and complain until it kicks in. This is the front of my house. No sidewalks on our street. Ignore that pile of leaves that I must pick up. That is creeping phlox. When we bought the house, there was one big spot of it on the wall in the middle. I painstakingly pulled the whole thing apart and spread it out over the entire wall. It took a good five years for it to really fill in but I am proud of it. I treat that phlox better then any other plant or tree or flower in my yard. They get a spruce up in the spring. All the dead stuff is trimmed and I fill in any empty spots. Then in the Fall I trim it all up close to the wall. I do not like when it gets really long on the wall because then you have to deal with alot of dead greenery. Since we do not have sidewalks, the snow/ice removal stuff tends to spread pretty close to the plant and kills parts of it. Hence why the phlox gets a Brazilian every October.
Ahhh! I think it is starting to work a bit.
My friend`s viewing is going to be Wednesday night and the funeral is going to be on Thursday morning. I am very sad about the fact that I will not be able to go. I called her Mom and left a message on her answering machine. I let her know that I sent her an email. I want to keep in touch with her as much as possible. I do not want to let our separation to happen again.

| Feed me! |
After my appointment, I am going to change and put on my trusty bandana. I am going to clean my bedroom top to bottom so that it is lovely for my recovery. I am not afraid to sweat! No dust, no garbage, all the clothes put away, and the window open. Tonight I am going to make a nice taco dinner for everyone including guacamole. I was going to treat myself to a pedicure tomorrow but the girls are going to pay for it! So I used my pedicure money to buy a new pair of sport flip flops. These are Champion ones from Payless. $24. I paid less then that for my old Nike ones but they are like the same thing. They are cushioning in a way that exercises your legs but also gives your feet some stability. I have very high arches. I cannot wear just any of flip flop. And I love flip flops! So I just get some nice black ones that go with everything.
My last pair died a horrible death by Ruby. I was using them around the house but they were not fit for public viewing. Oh no!
It is almost 11am. I need to get moving. I got to separate the dishes so when I get back, I can get the kitchen done. Lots to do!
Happy Monday all!

Biopsies suck!
*266*
I had my endometrial biopsy yesterday. Or should I say biopsies. He took four samples. It wasnt horrific to be perfectly honest. The part that hurt was that as he was getting ready to release the speculum, my uterus seized up in a massive cramp. I actually yelped. They had me rest for 10 minutes before trying to get up. I was crampy for the rest of the day and I did have spotting but I am okay. He started talking about having a D and C and an ablation done. He also wants to do an lap. in the belly button to peek around inside my abdomen. If I get an ablation, no more periods at least for the next two years.
I do not know why he has did a 360 on it all. The right side cyst is a smallish 2.5 cm. The one of the left is 6cm. I have to go and have another ultrasound at the end of March to see if it has changed. I think that will steer how all this goes. Plus what my biopsies say. I was just getting a cat scan to have my gut looked at and I ended up at the lady bits Doctor. Hmmm.
Speaking of Lady bits..Ruby went into heat! Fuck!!! I was going to have her done in March but either I was told she was a month younger then she really is or the weird weather has kicked her into maturity. Now I have to wait till the heat is over before she can go in and get fixed up.
So this is the season of the Bloody Marys...me and Ru.

News from the Gastro
I thought I would share a nice video of Ruby romping through the snow for her very first time. Most of you have probably already seen it but that is okay. I like watching her carefree doggy life.
I got a call from the Gastro yesterday. He said that my Ultrasound was fine and so was all my blood work. I told him how I have been feeling since the last time I talked to him. He suggested Gastroparesis again. He wants me to have a Cat scan of my abdomen and then if that is okay, a stomach emptying study. Oh joy! I guess I am fucked. I am trying to be really positive but this shit is not cool. Some people get really thin because they cannot eat and they have to have a feeding tube. I do not want that! NEVER EVER! Please do not take this the wrong way or think you need to call anybody because I am just spouting off. But I would never want to live through that. I would rather not be here if my choice in life was feeding tubes, holes in my stomach, and multiple trips to the ER and hospital because of bezoars in my gut. No thank you.
Let us hope, if I have that, it is a milder version. Very mild. Like I lose some weight, lower my blood sugars, and cannot eat certain foods. That I can live with.
So yeah, I am not liking stuff right now.
On a more positive note. I am trying to decide if I should sign up for the community garden again this year or just build my own in the front yard. I was suggested by a friend (Thanks Liz) that I could use cinder building blocks. They cost $1.35 each at Home Depot. I want at least three beds out front. Maybe two long and one short. I have to measure. My faulty figuring (off the cuff) was $200 total for three long beds. That doesn't even include cement (if I want to do it permanent) and soil. Granted, it will cost me way more then the $20 fee for my two beds at the garden. But there were issues with the water two years in a row, people steal your bounty, and i am using gas to get there. I could just have it out front , put up a temp fence in front of the beds to keep them safe, and I have all the water and sun that I need.
I think I am going to do it. I can buy a little bit of blocks every week and put them in the Jeep. Before you know it, I will have all I need.
Of course I will document it for here. Maybe one of you will decide to do the same thing.
okay, I am still in my jammies, I have no idea what is for dinner tonite, and I have some housework to do.

Ruby the Beast
![]() |
| Ruby kept me company when I had the flu |
As you can plainly see, she has gotten much bigger. The last time Raymond weighed her she was 25 lbs (two weeks ago) and I bet she is even bigger now. She has started (and I have stopped) putting her paws up on the kitchen counter so she can see what there is up there. That is a big dog if you ask me. She also destroyed the heating pad, multiple pairs of socks, my most favorite bed quilt, and countless other things. That is why she is a beast. But she is learning. She knows her name. She knows Natalie`s name too. She just wants to be loved and if that means she comes barreling at you like a train and leaps on you without stopping first, then so be it!

Brother, can you spare a paper towel?
![]() | |
| Ruby: 3 months |
I moved the scale and it tells me what I want to hear. LOL Natalie and I are going to the gym on Monday morning after we drop Chelsea off at work. I want to see how it looks all new and shiny and I want to lose more weight. So we are going!
See how big Miss Ruby T is doing? She is a beautiful beast, I tell you. I can take her on a walk of the street and let her run around the yard for an hour and she will come inside and crap by the bottom of the stairs. Why???
She was doing so well and now she does not even give a hint that she needs to go until the shit is plopping out of her ass. I have to be more vigilant in my work to house train her. I go through paper towels like nobodies business. A pack of 8 used to last me more then a week. I am lucky if I can make them stretch out from Friday to Friday.
She is learning not to mouth us or bite us. She is getting yelled at plenty (Ouch! or No bite!). She is steadily losing her baby teeth. Natalie found one on the couch the other day. So tiny.
She is a sweet dog but she is a puppy and puppies make old women tired.
Fred helped me clean up the diningroom a bit. It is more open and oh so less cluttered. I am happy! I re-arranged some stuff to make it more user friendly. I have to finish sweeping and then I have to mop the floor.
Today is peanut butter bon bon day. After I finish here, I am going to clean the kitchen and get started on making the yummy treats.
It has been a busy weekend....

If you do not like boobs, do not look!
*270* <--gained some but my period is coming.
I am using this picture as my Facebook photo. Well, just her face. hehehe. I would get booted toot sweet for posting the whole picture. And I wouldnt do that cause I have friends that do not like to see or hear things like that. This is my blog and hopefully, nobody will narc on me. It is on pic and I have not slipped into the dark side!
I wanted to show Bettie Page because she was so pretty. And she risked so much back then to do what she did. It is like she was one of the first liberated women! In the 1940s!
I was able to do some Christmas shopping yesterday. There is an extra paycheck AND thanksgiving pay in this weeks check. So I paid bills, bought a few things and filled the pantry and freezer. I like extra pay check months. I have to large built onto the wall cabinets, floor to ceiling) that is my *pantry*. I do not have the traditional little room for my food like I used to growing up. But that is okay. It is stocked full of food most of the time but when it starts to get thin, there is usually a 5 paycheck month on the horizon. I have a section just for pastas, rices, and boxed crap, one section for all things canned and jarred, third section for spices, baking supplies, and some cooking appliances, and the last one is for pet food, medications, and all my oils and vinegars and helpful potions for food.(there are alot). So I have some stuff back in there and I feel better. When I see big spaces where food used to be, I have a need to fill it.
Today is the 3rd of December. It has been unseasonably warm here in Southeastern CT but this morning it is rather cold. I am not ready for snow. I have to buy tires for the Jeep and the thought of snow before we get those tires, scares me. I hope it holds off a little while.
I am going to be making my peanut butter bon bons today. Somewhere in last December`s blog section you can find the recipe. I have a shit ton to make for many people. I have boxes for packing also. I will be up to my ass cheeks in those things. I love to make them because friends like them and I like to give them. I really need to get done because I have a Secret Santa gift to mail out on Monday and part of this persons gift is the bon bons. I am not saying anymore just in case they read here. :)
So that will be my day as boring as it sounds. Rounding up the pup, cleaning house, making bon bons, and thinking of something good for dinner. Fred has the weekend off. So it is cooking time for me.
Damn, I wish my knockers stood up like that? They never did.

Decorating for the Holiday season
![]() |
| Divas do not smile for the camera |
Raymond and I cleaned the yard yesterday. Not the top yard but the side yard and I did the front of the house. I still have to do some out there but I will get to that after this. So since I had that pleasantly wonderful unexpected help, I decided I would go downstairs today and bring up all the Christmas decorations. The tree and all. I found the porch flag and the wreath for the door. Everything else was BURIED behind boxes and crap. I was a little bit pissed, to say the least. When we had the almost fire and then the electrician..Fred decided to clean the basement. He basically cleaned the main area and SHOVED everything in the storage area on the side. EVERYTHING. Guess what was behind all of that?
Christmas!
After I screamed that he was dead meat..hehehe..he came downstairs and got all my Christmas crap. Thank you, big hug and kiss. All is right with my world.
So I am not too bah humbuggy I guess. I am willing to look at Christmas decorations for longer then a month. That must mean something.
Now, hopefully Ruby and Milo will not destroy shit this year. This is both of their first Christmas together. One could climb and knock over the tree, the other could digest it. So I will be on my toes with those two.
All the animals still have fleas. I have to go to the vet and pick up some treatments on Monday. Lu is still favoring her back leg but she is using it. I do not want her to suffer (she is not complaining) but I do not want to pay a vet bill for her being dainty. She could have a slight sprain but favor it forever cause she does not like to hurt. This is the dog that screamed bloody murder when her feet touched snow. I have made the decision to make my decision on Wednesday. If she is still favoring it the same as now with no improvement, she will go to the vet.
Okay, time to finish my umpteenth coffee, slap a bra on the girls, and finish my yard work!
Is it January yet?

UnThanksgiving and Fallen leaves of 2011
![]() |
| Trees in my back yard |
I am repeating myself from Facebook but that is okay. Just indulge me. It was taking forever for the leaves to turn and fall. It is the second week of November and the leaves were just starting to turn. We would have already bagged the majority of the leaves already and been on our second round by now. I have not bagged one bag yet, and neither has any of my neighbors..until last night. The leaves changed and then we have a rainy wind storm. That is all it needed. Still leaves on the trees BUT lots and lots on the ground. I have to wear my garden clogs to watch for shitbombs while I rake. Ruby has been good about pooping in the same areas but I want to be careful just the same! LOL Speaking of Rubylicious, she is a smart fucking cookie. She has already figured out the flaws in my fencing in the yard. I need to go to Home Depot today and pick up an extra section to block her ass from coming out of the yard. Sneaking little minx. She is getting big. I need to get some snaps of her when I get a chance. The last time I had a puppy (Precious) we also had our older dog Pokie to teach her. It took no time at all to have those dogs trained to stay in the yard. This one is testing me at every turn. She is lucky she is cute.
(I am not in anyway wanting to make this a discussion about race..this is about how I am treated at home.)
We are not celebrating Thanksgiving this year. We are not even making a special meal, just because. It is going to be another day on the calendar. My daughters are pains in the asses. See, I am the white woman that cannot form any sort of opinion on anything that has to do with Black or Native American issues. They want to make me look stupid at every chance (at least one of them does). They are Narragansett Indian. That means we cannot even eat a turkey dinner because of the genocide of the Indians. Last year I did an UnThanksgiving but this year they said that wasnt good enough. I had to just ignore it existed at all. Yup..ah huh.
So I am going to fuck with their minds this year. Only 2 presents per person on Christmas. That is it. No electronics. No fancified gifts. Christmas is about family and love and all that is nice in the world. It aint about an over abundance of gifts.
SHIT! If I cannot have my turkey..I sure as hell am not going into debt for those two. Nope! They are adults now. Most adults get one present or none at all. I am being generous.
Fred and I will just indulge each other in January for our birthdays and anniversary! tee hee
Is that mean?

Dog shit and hurt feelings

* I am going to the gym tomorrow and I will weigh myself and then I will know if that 270 was a fluke or not. I will report back then. *
Ruby Update!
Lu-Bee-Doo hates her guts. I mean literally, Little Miss Lu..the sweet faced Maltese Yorkie that bats her eye lashes and has a purple tail feather HATES RUBY`S GUTS! I can swear I hear her say Fucking Bitch under her breath. I keep reaffirming my love for both the small dogs but Lu is not having it. She does not like it and she makes sure she voices her loud opinion on the subject every chance she gets a look at that sweet face up top. If Lu could handle a switchblade, I think she would do Ruby in. I am beside myself with this a teensy bit. I have had animals kinda be hating on the newbie of the house but after awhile, they get used to each other and it is a big ole flea swapping party!
No No Nanette! Lu is NOT going to like this dog...EVER!
Ruby is getting bigger but she is not going to be a monster like a Lab (thank god). Her poops are as big as a humans though and she shits all over the yard. But not in the grass mind you..in all the garden beds. So now, I have to go walking through the bombs of shit to clean it up. I have to do that today anyhow. She has only shit in the house once since the last time I said and she knows what the adult bed piss pads are for. She and Lu use them on a regular. I think I will keep them in the house for this winter because Lu does not like going out in the snow. She is a true Diva.
Ruby is doing really good. She is able to hold it longer in the morning too. I still have to carry her ass up and down the stairs. She tried to navigate up the stairs here by herself and she got scared and fell. She is ok. She only fell down like 5 steps but I caught her at the bottom so she did not hit the floor.
I am getting better. I am not AS exhausted as I was when she first came here. I am not secretly having thoughts of bringing her back to the previous owners anymore. I am good. She knows to not trip me. and that I am her Mother. Not Grandma like I had hoped but Momma. Natalie has punked out on her dog mother duties. So it is basically all me. Seems fair, huh? Ruby follows me around everywhere I go... so we all know what that means.
Another 14 years of happiness.

Tired old ass
*still no scale*
The playpen will be delivered today. Yay! Ruby is a good pup but I need that playpen so that I do not have to constantly watch her or have somebody else watch her. I was able to sleep last night. She was in the bed with us. She did not pee in the bed, thank goodness.
I know I am fucking it all up but I had no place to put her until the pen came. She will probably whine and cry cause she is not in the bed but this is how it has to be. Plus, I have a life. I need to go places. Cannot have her roaming the house by herself. My ass is tired. I bet I will definitely lose some weight with this pup. Up down left right out in awake asleep. She tears through the back yard like I shoved a firecracker up her ass. It is so funny.
My tired ass does not know what she is going to do today. I am so fucking tired that I do not even want to clean or cook but I will have to do something. I could start bagging some branches and leaves I guess. Ugh. That sounds so cruel to my old bones and muscles.
Natalie and I talked to the neighbor down the street that has Ruby`s sister. She asked what we named her and when we told her, she looked a bit shocked. She named her pup Ruby too! That is unbelievable! Her Ruby is smaller then ours. Maybe the runt of the litter.
Milo and Ruby have become fast friends. They tear through the house together working off some steam. They wrestle. They play fight. It is good for Ruby. She just left her litter mates and it would have been a bit sad if she lost that all together. It is like Milo is her littermate.
Yeah, my ass is tired and cannot think anymore.
This post is done.

Macho Macho..eh whatever.
I have this song stuck in my head so I thought i would share.
I promised a friend that I would exercise in some form today and share the results with her. I think I will walk the dogs and then maybe do some Just Dance on Wii. I am just waking up so I am not making any promises at this moment. Natalie and I have not been to the gym in over 2 months. I have decided that if we do not make a conscious effort to really go at least 2-3 times a week, every week by the end of the year, then I am cancelling the memberships. I pay over $40 for all three and no one is going. That is almost $500 a year that I am paying out for something that is not being used. So we are going to go on Monday and see how that goes.
If I can lose weight getting off a diabetic pill, I should be able to step it up to firm some of the flab too. I think I want a new scale for Christmas. One of those BMI ones that tells you all your dirty little secrets. So we will all be surprised when I first weigh myself.
Natalie watched Ruby last night so I could get some sleep. I ordered a puppy play pen for her and it should be here tomorrow. That way she can sleep, she can pee, she can play and not get into trouble. She wont be in there all the time but I need to be able to go out and she needs to be able to live without anyone around her 24/7. She has the other dogs and cats keeping her company. So Natalie is exhausted and probably sleeping. She has an appointment later on this afternoon but she will be good for that later.
I still say I am a fucking lunatic for having a puppy in the house. Lord. But Natalie loves her and she is actually helping. Which is a major milestone. I came downstairs and the living room is cleaned. She is picking up poop and pee from the pup. She is taking her for walks. It is a responsibility that she needed. Do not worry. I am helping and teaching her that you have to be firm with the pup. Tell them NO now so they do not become a beast later. She is sleeping next to me on the couch. LOL
Need more coffee and a better song in my head.

Ruby
This is Ruby. She is the reason I am up at 5:38am. She is a new member to the family. Eight weeks old, mutt thru and thru. I know she is part beagle and Pitt, plus a couple other things. Her parents are medium sized. So that guarantees me that her shits will be enormous! Fuck!
What have I gotten myself into?
The neighbor down the street must have not fixed her two dogs because apparently, they had a litter of six puppies. The woman of the household decided she was going to walk the last three that she had down the street on leashes (do I smell shit?). Natalie and I were on the front porch. We were goners before she came near our house.
She has some pluses already. She knows what adult piss pads are because she is using them. And she woke up at 5am cause her ass needed to shit. And she did it outside..I think what I smell is coffee brewing...She slept on our bed all night but she did tinkle on the top blanket, so that is a minus.
She is lucky she is cute as hell.
All of the animals are cool except for Perla the chihuahua. She is being a grumpy old bitch about it. She keeps staying near me and that is okay. She will get extra love.
Now I need to make a list. I need to get a baby circle to put the puppy in, more Nyla bones, and those kong things to keep her occupied.
Like I said, I am a lunatic.
